Interior Design and Décor

Whether for work or play, starting from the floor up or just combining current furnishings with distinctive or custom pieces to refine and give your space an update, POSH is here to help. We will assist you with color coordination, texture, and proportions to produce rooms that are compelling and timeless and tailored to your project’s needs. From initial planning to working with the architect, contractor, or builder to final installation, we provide you with the highest standard of service during the interior design process.

Remodeling and New Construction

Picking materials and selecting finishes can be very overwhelming and stressful decisions. We ensure that those selections and design solutions are provided for every applicable area of the project so that you don’t have to worry. Our services include, but are not limited to: project evaluation, product specification, space planning, work flow layout, and design aesthetic decisions. We are knowledgeable about the newest materials and options while always maintaining a classic, timeless approach to the design aesthetic.

Space Planning

Space planning is a fundamental element of the interior design process. It starts with an in-depth analysis of how the space is to be used. The goal of our designer is not only to fashion an environment that is elegant and tasteful, but one that works in harmony with your lifestyle.

Custom Window Treatment and Upholstery

Nothing adds more to an interior’s complete look and feel than complimentary window treatments or window coverings. In addition to beauty and sophistication, drapes and blinds also provide the practical elements of privacy, as well as light and sound control. From bold and contemporary to neutral and traditional, fabrics can provide additional comfort and style to your design.

The atmosphere and appearance of your room will be changed dramatically by the design and choice of fabric used when dressing your windows. Panels, valances, and curtains are just a few of the design styles to select from. Window coverings such as blinds, shutters, and shades can be used as either an alternative or in addition to your window treatments. Furniture, Wall Hanging and Accessories

Design advice, including furniture, art, and accessories, is available for every area of your home or workplace. We are masters at curating your style, while respecting your timeline, budget, and schedule.

Once your design concept has been decided and a plan has been formulated, it is time to start selecting the pieces of furniture, wall hangings and accessories that will be the focal point of your room. With careful consideration for your space, we will help make selections based on your desires and lifestyle. Our access to major manufacturers as well as unique finds collected from our travels allow us to provide you with competitive prices on these items. Additionally, we can order custom pieces and look around for antiques that better reflect your personality.

Interior Design Consultation

The first step in bringing your vision to reality is to schedule a design consultation. Together we will determine the scope of your project. This includes establishing a time frame for completion and setting a realistic budget for achieving your desired results.

Through comprehensive dialogue and examination of visual imagery we will develop a concept, ultimately reflecting your individual point-of-view and distinct sense of style.

DESIGN SERVICES & OUR PROCESS

EVERY ASPECT, FROM CONCEPT TO INSTALLATION, IS HANDLED WITH GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Design Phase: Once we have completed our Design Consultation where we have consulted with you to ascertain your goals, interviewed people who will use the space, taken measurements of your space, hone in on your style and lifestyle needs, we will begin to prepare a plan for your space. Plans encompass room inspiration, sourcing fixtures, tile, furnishings and accessories, mood boards and cosmetic enhancements.

Project Management & Procurement: Once design plans are finalized and approved, we become your feet on the ground. During this phase, we will begin ordering all approved pieces (furniture, fixtures, accessories, flooring, etc), talking to trade partners, tracking, confirmations, handling damages and returns, arranging deliveries, room rearranging, install and styling of rooms. Any cosmetic finishes and enhancements will be scheduled via a Third Party Contractor, where I will meet you at the vendor shop or direct you after a finish is chosen for approval. Cosmetic enhancements will be completed before installation services can be initiated.

Install Phase: The Installation is the final step in the design process. It typically takes one to two full days for all of your design elements to come together. During this time furniture is delivered, accessories are placed, art is hung, window treatments are installed, and all other finishing touches are executed. We typically ask clients to be away on install day(s) so that they can return for a big reveal.
